Puppy Colors: One of the rarest and beautiful Bernedoodle colors is the merle pattern. Merle Bernedoodles have a solid base color with speckled patches of diluted colors throughout the coat. The merle coat gene is not as common in either Poodles or Bernese Mountain Dogs, but it can be passed onto the Bernedoodles when one of the parents is carrying the merle gene. Phantom Bernedoodles are somewhat similar to tri-colored Bernedoodles, but they have less white markings and more brown hues in their coats. The most common phantom combination is black and tan. These pups usually have dominant black color all across the body with tan markings on the face, chest, legs, and paws. This is again a more rare Bernedoodle color out there, but it sure does look beautiful! There are other colors and patterns more dominant in Bernedoodles which you can read about here

What do F1 and F1b mean? An F1 Bernedoodle means one of the parents is a Bernese Mountain Dog and the other parent is a Poodle. Micro Bernedoodles cannot be F1 because the smallest F1 size possible is Mini.

An F1b Bernedoodle means one of the parents is already an F1 Bernedoodle (50% Bernese Mountain Dog, 50% Poodle), and the other parent is 100% Poodle. This makes an F1b Bernedoodle 75% Poodle and 25% Bernese Mountain Dog. Their coat may be wavy to curly, although coats always vary within a litter. They also are the highest level of hypo-allergenic coat with the most optimum minimal shedding, making them the best dog available for those who suffer from pet dander allergies.

Micro Bernedoodle Weight: Based on the parent's weights and breed expectations, we anticipate the Micro Bernedoodles to have an adult weight ranging between 18lbs at the smallest and around 35lbs at the largest. An average-sized Micro Bernedoodle maybe around 20-30lbs.

Breeder's Pick: Grace Wood Farm reserves the right to hold a breeder's pick spot for any future litter.
