Puppy Colors: The merle pattern is among the rarest and most beautiful Bernedoodle colors. Merle Bernedoodles have a solid base color with speckled patches of diluted colors throughout the coat. The merle coat gene is not as common in Poodles or Bernese Mountain Dogs, but it can be passed onto the Bernedoodles when one of the parents carries the merle gene. Phantom Bernedoodles are similar to tri-colored Bernedoodles but have less white markings and more brown hues in their coats. The most common phantom combination is black and tan. These pups usually have dominant black color all across the body with tan markings on the face, chest, legs, and paws. This is, again, a rare Bernedoodle color out there, but it sure does look beautiful! Other colors and patterns are more dominant in Bernedoodles, which you can read about here

What do F1 and F1b mean? An F1 Bernedoodle means one of the parents is a Bernese Mountain Dog, and the other parent is a Poodle. Mini is the smallest F1 size possible.

An F1b Bernedoodle means one of the parents is already an F1 Bernedoodle (50% Bernese Mountain Dog, 50% Poodle), and the other parent is 100% Poodle. This makes an F1b Bernedoodle 75% Poodle and 25% Bernese Mountain Dog. Their coats may be wavy to curly, although they always vary within a litter. They also are the highest level of the hypo-allergenic coat with the most optimum minimal shedding, making them the best dog available for those who suffer from pet dander allergies.

Mini Bernedoodle Weight: Based on the parent's weights and breed expectations, we anticipate the Mini Bernedoodles to have an adult weight ranging between 40 lbs at the smallest and around 50 lbs at the largest—an average-sized Mini Bernedoodle maybe around 40-50lbs.

Breeder's Pick: Grace Wood Farm reserves the right to hold a breeder's pick spot for any future litter.
