Sheepadoodles are a hybrid between a Poodle and an Old English Sheepdog. This is considered a "designer" dog because it's a cross breed with a poodle in which they get the very fluffy unique coat which is low allergy triggering and very minimal shedding. When regularly brushed a Sheepadoodle's fur will remain fluffy as an adult and give them a "teddy bear" look that stays super cute.
Here at Grace Wood Farm we have a strong policy that if you want any puppy from us you better be 100% ready to train it! Every puppy needs training and to not be willing to do this disqualifies you from owning a puppy or dog. Sheepadoodles are easily trainable and make good watchdogs. They are kid-friendly dogs and love attention and affection. They are very friendly dogs and are non-aggressive. They also aren't a breed to bark much but will bark to alert you if they think something is off which makes them good watchdogs. They have gentle personalities and are happy and sweet.
Sheepadoodles are moderately active, which makes them less maintenance than a high-activity breed of dog. They still need exercise but are not a high-activity dog.
A Sheepadoodle's average size is 50-90 lbs and between 24-27 inches tall, around the same size as an average standard poodle. Their average lifespan is 12-15 years. Their fur can be wavy or curly and will be very soft and grow long.
You put all this together and we think Sheepadoodles are a fantastic pet, which is why we chose to breed them!
